This is a full-day hybrid event bringing together the shellfish sector from across Atlantic Canada to share knowledge and manage current and emerging shellfish health challenges.

Participants may attend in-person or online.

Who should attend: Shellfish professionals looking to collaborate. Such as, oyster growers, harvesters, and processors, hatchery and nursery operators, applied research and development professionals, regulators and extension service professionals, and academics.

The workshop is being coordinated and hosted by the Canadian Atlantic Shellfish Health Network (CASH'N). CASH'N is a collaborative initiative of the Atlantic provinces that supports research and fosters outreach and information sharing to better respond to growing health concerns within the Atlantic shellfish industry.

There is limited travel support funding for small-scale oyster processors, wild harvesters, or growers who require financial assistance to attend the workshop in person. Individuals can apply for this funding here.

Please note that funding is not guaranteed for all applicants.

Travel support applications close January 16th, 2026.
